Our Campus

The campus has been designed with the environment in mind. We have crafted a design concept that embraces nature, maximizes the amount of natural light that enters the space, and provides a peaceful and pleasant atmosphere for students to learn in.As students spend a considerable amount of time at school, it’s essential to create an environment that makes them feel comfortable, relaxed, and inspired.

Our campus is more than just a school. It is a community that is committed to promoting sustainability and inclusivity. Students as well as our community are encouraged to be actively involved in our recycling activities. We aspire to live an environmentally mindful life and provide vegetarian, organic and local friendly food. We have a variety of outdoor spaces, including gardens, playgrounds, and jungle gym to provide opportunities for students to explore, discover, and grow.

Vision

Taruwara’s Vision is to provide a good education that hopefully opens various paths and opportunities for children. Our dedication is to raising a strong-hearted child who is resilient and innovative. We see children as individual learners and We believe that success in life is derived not only from a sharp intellect but also from the ability to adapt and solve problems. We also want to provide relevant education in a supportive environment. We will encourage the children to be independent life-long learners. We hope to bring positive impacts on the environment and society.

Vegetarian & Organic Food

We provide vegetarian meals and healthy snacks for students at Taruwara. We ensure that we use good ingredients, such as organic vegetables. Our kitchen makes homemade, healthy food based on local-friendly and Japanese cooking without using MSG. We aim to provide students with healthier choices, including more vegetables and fruits. We bring plant-based food to school for children to learn about and enjoy a variety of nutritious foods from an early age.

Facilities

Taruwara is a school built with a quite unique design that wants to make students feel comfortable being at school, especially because their school time is quite long.

We provide open-design classrooms, a coding room, a multifunction room, kitchen, comfortable mini libraries, trampolines, and other facilities to support teaching and learning activities in schools.
